Born in Minnesota, Married, grown children.
Security clearance expired in 1989.
I earned an AA in Liberal Arts from North Hennepin Community College, immediately followed by a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
I moved to San Diego, California in 1984 to take a job as a Mechanical Engineer with General Dynamics right after graduation from college. My husband, Steve, is a native-born San Diegan with children that were all born in San Diego. All of his children live in the greater San Diego area, so we would not dream of moving too far away from them. We'll travel, but we will not relocate.
Steve and I are currently building a post and beam home in the Santa Ana mountains, which is a space for living and working that is perfect for the kinds of work we both are doing. There's lots of information on the Shamrock Trails Ranch web site, so I won't go into it here.
I have a great love for my work, for my family, and for our ranch. It has been great to be able to combine the ranch and my software development work so that nothing needs to be sacrificed.
