The point of this page is to let you know who I am and why you’d want to bother reading anything I write. Well, I’m an independent computer software developer who spends perhaps 100 hours a week working on my many web sites or writing software either for my own company or for clients. I’m not a policy wonk, an expert on finance or credit issues, or anything else like that. I try to be well read and well informed. I like very much to communicate my opinions about the world around me, but I really don’t want to corner my friends to warm up their ears. Hence, this blog! I’m not sure at the moment what the interest level in my posts will be, but I’m going ahead anyway. The bullet point facts about me are:
- Middle-aged, self-employed female from the baby boom generation
- Registered Democrat, politically a fiscal conservative and social liberal
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, some graduate school
- Politically inactive, but try to stay well-read
- Disabled spouse is a retired teacher
There are political posts on this blog, but this is not a political blog. It is a personal blog about pretty much anything that interests me.
